Healthcare Matters The severity of COVID19S impact is uncertain but we are blessed and thankful that during this difficult time we have access to quality health care in our rural community at Sidney Health Center. It is our area's largest employer and a healthcare hub in eastern Montana, especially with their cancer care center. We know that access to quality healthcare and preventive care is less expensive than emergency care and that a local hospital is critical for the health and economic sustainability of Sidney and surrounding communities. I have a record of supporting healthcare and will continue to do so. During the 2019 legislature I was glad to support the following healthcare legislation that: Helped lower insurance premiums for over 50,000 Montanans (SB125) Provided grants for mental health crisis intervention in local communities (HB660) Helped lower the cost of prescription drugs for Montanans (SB61, SB83) Provided more transparency in the Dept of Public Health & Human Services (HB433) Provided access to healthcare for thousands of low-income Montanans, including 493 residents here in Richland County (HB658) Re-elect Joel I'm looking forward to visiting when the crisis is over! -Joel Krautter for MT House District 35 Common Sense Conservative, Problem-Solving Leadership Paid for by Joel Krautter for House, P.O.
