M RESEARCH ASSISTANT Montana State University Eastern Agricultural Research Center is looking for a fixed-term appointment Research Assistant. The job duties of this position include but not limit to packaging and organizing seeds, planting field plots (driving tractor or operating planter), applying fertilizer and controlling weeds, collecting soil and plant samples, processing soil and plant samples in the lab, recording and entering data into a computer. This person will also clean and maintain EARC ground and facilities and help other projects as needed. Occasional in and out of state overnight travels are required. Work schedule is Mon-Fri 7am-4pm. The pay rate $14.00 to $17.00 per hour depending on the skills and experience. Benefits are included.
