SIDNEY PUBLIC SCHOOLS STAFF SPOTLIGHT BRENDA KIAMAS Brenda Kiamas has been the HS Head Custodian for the last (12) years: which is nothing compared to her (28) years total (that she remembers) with the District! Brenda is the "Go-To" for ALL buildings that need assistance with: HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. She has made it a top priority to maintain relationships with all local technicians, keeping them happy with baked goods as a "Thank You for their services to the District. Brenda is also one of the BIGGEST supporters of our activities, our students and events making sure that the High Schools is always in tip-top shape for all activities. In her spare time, Brenda enjoys long walks with her dog Cheeba, working on her flowers around her home, and shopping with her friends. When we can convince her to take a vacation, she typically visits her daughter Tanya in Gillette taking the opportunity to spend time with her two grandkids Alexis (14) and Dakota (10). Brenda the High School and the District as a whole would not operate without you. Thank you so much for everything you do! HOLLY REDMAN Holly Redman has been on staff with Sidney High School for (17) years; she is also the HS Math Department Head. Mrs. Redman is currently teaching Basic Math, Geometry, and Calculus for our students. She takes her role as a math teacher very seriously, lining our kids out for National Math Competitions as well as advising the "Math Madness Club" which meets weekly in the mornings to prepare for upcoming competitions. Holly is married to her husband, Ken, and has (3) adult children and (4) grandchildren. In her spare time, you will find Holly working on solving puzzles or traveling with her children or to see them! If you are curious enough, ask Holly about her next BIG trip, where she plans to meet her kids in Broken i Bow, Oklahoma this upcoming April. TARI SYTH Tari Syth has worked for the District for (6) years in total, with the last (4) as a Tier II Technology Services Technician at Sidney High School. Tari truly keeps the High School going when it comes to technology! A fun fact about Tari's ability to manage several tech issues at once has been contributed to her learning how to "juggle" in the 4th grade. It has obviously paid dividends to the High School as she is constantly Juggling the needs of many staff and district needs In a graceful manner. Tari can often be found quickly transitioning from one area to another putting out the fires that seem to pop up. Tari is married to her husband Nathan and together have one child, Lucas Michael (1). Tari says that Lucas is a little "All-Star" and has made parenting a blast so far! They also have (4) spoiled cats, one of which is a Polydactyl with (7) toes on each foot.
